About school
Education is the most important tool for the progress and development of a person, society and nation . It should be imparted to all children equally irrespective of colour, creed, religion & language at a nominal price, with this vision Jain happy school was established and late Shri. Ajit Prasad Jain the first Manager of the school in Sep. 1952 with only 3 students begin within the nursery section by Jain Sabha, New Delhi in its premises at Jain Nishi Temple, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg, New Delhi which has an area of about one acre.

Late shri sham lal Jain the then President of Jain Sabha, New Delhi (1952) and a well known social figure among the Jains of Delhi. Together with late shri Hans Kumar Jain, Secretary of the Sabha, were mainly instrumental in establishing the school.

As the educational standard of the school was outstanding and the fees was reasonable, there was a steady trickle in the number of students and the school was soon raised to middle level (upto VIII class) in the year1960 and raised upto class X in the year 1993. Efforts are being made persistently to raise it upto senior secondary level (i.e. up to XII).
Principal's Message
“If a plant is carefully nurtured by a gardener, it will become good, and produce better fruit. Therefore, children must be given a good training from their earliest childhood.”

Parents, students and the school authorities are a team and complement each other’s efforts. Education is not just a process of giving knowledge but inculcate values to guide one’s life. In order to do this, the parents and the teachers must work together to inculcate certain values in the students. Respect for one’s elders, especially the teachers and a commitment to discipline are engraved in Indian culture. Let us inculcate these ideals in our younger generation. A Student who has respect for the teacher will be more receptive to authority and to learning. To be successful, we need self- discipline, which teaches us to sacrifice individual interest in favour of group interest. We are sure that JHSians of yesterday, today and tomorrow will carry forward the motto of love and unity entrusted in their hands. We hope that they will always do well in their studies. With all my love, best wishes and blessings to all JHSians.
